Sometimes Shaggy will get stuck with Velma and the main dog whenever the team splits apart. In many of the films his voice is done by the late great Casey Kasem.
The only great thing about Shaggy is Casey Kasem who was the good man who supplied his voice. Mr. Kasem took time out of his busy schedule to work for the individuals at the Hanna-Barbera studios. He was also invited to voice the brother of Josie and the Pussycats' Alexandra Cabot who had the name of Alexander.
Both girls on this series had reddish hair but people would look at Daphne more than Velma. Daphne was very pretty and she had the chance to be taken on almost every episode on this series. Decades later the producers decided not to make this girl into a damsel in distress.
Daphne was a sixteen year old girl who was also mature for your young years. Velma was the fifteen year old who wore glasses and would often carry Shaggy and the big dog whenever they were on the run. She was very intelligent and could solve any mystery which was given to this group.
